Welcome to The Thatched Cottage.

Located in the heart of Old Tipperary, five minutes from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary in Ballycommon. The homely ambience, fine dining and beverages, coupled with friendly staff catering for your every need, ensure it is the ideal venue for all your social and corporate events.

The structure itself has been preserved and restored to its original state, bringing with it that old worldly atmosphere. Today, the tradition is being nurtured and enhanced by the proprietors Kathleen & Tony Donlan.

The Thatched Cottage comprises four main areas:

• The Bar
• The Stables Restaurant
• An intimate Nell’s Cottage
• The Banqueting room for hosting larger functions such as weddings, communions, christenings, Christmas parties, fashion shows etc.
