The Thatched Cottage Hotel
Located in the Heart of The New Forest National Park is the gorgeous Thatched Cottage Hotel. For Hampshire one is a jewel, while the other a delight. The delight of the two is the Thatched Cottage Hotel; a Grade 2 listed building that reigns from 1627. It is Royally beautiful; plus it has a Gin Bar. Did I mention the Gin Bar?
The Thatched Cottage Hotel offers you the opportunity to eat, drink, sail and sleep as well as the usual relaxing whilst taking in the scenery of Brockenhurst Village where you can enjoy the pubs and restaurants at your leisure. You can also partake in a Gin or three at the Escape Gin Bar. After a visit to the Gin Bar you may need a wee lie down.
Sleeping is well catered for at the Thatched Cottage Hotel. You can stay in an Historic Superior room, or you may choose to put your head down in one of the other rooms that are lesser in title but equal in comfort. The Historic rooms are character-full and comfortable. They contain all the modern facilities you may require; including wireless internet.
The Garden rooms are modern and tastefully dressed. They are full of light and are equal in comfort to the Historic Superior rooms. They lack the character but you cannot re-create the past and the Thatched Cottage Hotel have not tried to.
Eating and drinking are essential to your break away. Luckily, Brockenhurst Village and the Thatched Cottage Hotel have everything you require to satisfy your palate. B&B, afternoon tea and drinks are available at the Thatched Cottage Hotel. In the evening when your tummy is rumbling after a hard day sailing, or relaxing, you can stroll through the village and sample the pubs and restaurants.

After a few hours of sailing on the Solent you anchor off the Isle of Wight for a delicious freshly prepared two-course meal, served on deck, and the opportunity for a swim! Afterwards there is more sailing as you head back to Lymington – getting involved as much as you wish – or just sitting back and doing nothing but relaxing!
